Oops sorry that's without a resistor, with 5 ohm resistance i got around .5 volts.

Fossils (Regionals ~1st) (State ~6th)
Towers (Regionals ~1st) (State ~3rd)
Helicopter (Regionals -3rd gahhh) (State ~5th)
Wind Power (Regionals ~1st) (State ~3rd TIERED!)

Has anyone seen any differences using a resistor?

I haven't been able to try it out yet, just wondering.

Ya my turbine got 1.032 volts without resistors and .578 with resistors. On high of course.

What kinds of pitches are you using? I started high, but I definitely need to lower the pitch, I just don't know where to start

About the writing portion: So it's not gonna be exactly like physics lab, because we just have to know about the different types of energy and stuff,and heat loss/gain, etc. right? not like, forces and vectors and stuff? sorry, i'm being thrown into this so..

There is physics as well as alt energy and heat stuff. It looks very similar to last year. 4.k in the rules lists everything you will need to know.

Would plastic be a better building material then balsa wood or vise versa.
They say first place is a lonely place.
Unless you have a partner then it is one heck of a place.
