yes you can find a list of all the trial events at soinc.org. Model This, Optics, and Helicopter building are the ones that will take place at nationals this year.

Nobody knows what the topic of Junkyard will be until the Building committee gets together after Nationals and decides what they want to implement.

Is Picture This out for next year? If so, how is Sumo Bots a sufficient replacement?

So when will that info be released? I promised my team that I would start over the summer so I didn't get -200 points at the first invitationals like I did this year...

The "tenative" event list gets released about a week after nationals, but all it has is the names of the events and the topics for the non-rotating events. It is "tenative", but will likely not change unexpectantly. However, the topic for JYC will almost definitely remain private until the Coaches Conference in mid-summer at the earliest.

I think they're saying helicopter is going to replace wright stuff. I guess I'd be rather happy cause helicopter sound so fun, and there's no mylar to annoy me. xD

helicopter is the most annoying event ever. i hope it dosn't replace writ stuff.

It will, most likely. I also think that Sumo Bot will come in- it has been doing well for the past two years. Maybe it will replace Junkyard eventually?
