I think he's saying that you should care. He's from Stuy which competed in the Metro regionals.

1) The 2/27 date is right now very tentative.

I dont know if you were speaking on behalf of the Eastern Long Island Regionals (which took place), but i belived the person who menchioned that date indeed was. The tentative date (for WLI) that we were made aware of was 2/20.

An official announcement will be made early next week.

From what I've heard, as of today, the WLI Regionals date is just about certain to be 2/27.

Three more weeks of extra preparation time. I suppose that's good.

Any idea when ELI results will be up? They still havent been posted.

Apparently the scoresheet handed out at the competition had to be changed slightly, and the coordinator wants to be certain that there are no more changes before he posts it. Should be soon, though.

Top Teams in Capital District were:
1. Columbia A
2. Nisky A
3. Ballston Spa
4. Columbia B
5. Maple Hill
They can send four teams to states, so it will be Columbia, Nisky, Ballston Spa and Maple Hill
