I accuse linzhiyan of being the assassinator because the game went up so fast, when I PM'd her saying that I "knew she was the sassy" (I wanted to see the reaction since I already suspected her) she didn't answer, the previous clue referenced #procrastinationislife, and she sounds different in this game than other games.

Explanation: Internet Relay Chat, an early system of instant chat. Clients send messages to the server which then sends the message to the correct recipient(s). People can join channels, make channel topics, and chat in them (similar to groupchats). Clients can, besides sending PRIVMSGs, send different commands which tell the server to do things like tell everyone you're leaving, mark yourself as away, make you leave a channel, kick people from a channel, etc. The messages use the IRC protocol (which modern IRC clients take care of for you, giving a nice UX).
