The snow effect uses Javascript so if you aren't seeing it, you may need to enable Javascript in your web browser. There are also two other small changes to the home page if you want to look for them.

hmmm if you log in and then go back to the home page, the yellow button in the corner says your username (instead of "LOGIN") and then takes you to your profile (instead of the forums).

It currently only appears on the homepage but I plan on adding it to other pages with the navigation bar.
