I have seen maybe a dozen species on the list, and quite a few aren't common where I live

Soo, I went to the library today. They didn't have the cornell book, but I got the Sibley guide to bird life and behavior, and a birding book I thought seemed helpful. Let's see how much reading I can fit into a week...
no..i have...only ONCE though..i wish i could see those birds EVERY day......i would never get tired of them......wait....you have a bird feeder??? i want one...my parents won't let me..with all the dogs and cats in our neighborhood..it would be suicide....and in our neighborhood we have this stupid chihuahua and it WON'T SHUT UP! it barks everyday in the morning...my alarm clock, and in the afternoon, the owners put out bird feeders and baths but the dog is out there 24/7 that the birds just never go to the feeders.....and it's soo stupid it stood in front of a tree and barked at it for 3 hours straight...i timed it....
Yeah we have 2 bird feeders, and usually grackles hog them :/ But they end up knocking a bunch of the seeds off, and smaller birds eat that. We also have a hummingbird feeder that usually attracts more bees than anything -__-

The other day there was a squirrel trying to get to the bird feeders, but it couldn't. XD We have it hanging from a veranda instead of a tree, and the closest the squirrel got was on top of the veranda. lol I thought it was so funny!
