I see a lot of duct tape stories, and I want to add my own.

At state two years ago, our BLG airplane hit another balloon's string, went wild, and hit an observing woman in the head. Ouch. I felt horrible. So a member of our team came up, duct tape in hand, and said, "Duct tape can fix anything". He literally duct taped the entire front of the glider together, but we didn't have any time to test it before it flew. On our first attempt, it crashed and the front snapped. We had to use it, though, since we weren't getting good time on our other glider. The glider flew like a helicopter, and got us some great times, though we didn't medal. Keenan came up to me later. "Told you so." However, since the duct tape part was the part that broke, one could technically argue the duct tape didn't fix a thing.

Now thats a funny story! What place did you get? I know you didnt medal but still better then last right! Who knows..Maybe it was the duct tape

Maybe about 28th? It wasn't great, trust me. . .

Better than this year, when my Fossils partner just came up to me and told me he'd be there, he just wouldn't study or help me prepare. Jerk.

Wow you might be better off with no partner? Sci Oly is all about helping AND preparing he needs to get it together and be a teamplayer.
