Have they posted or sent yet what the Disease Detectives topic areas will be for the National Test? Last year they did tell us two diseases, asthma and Crytosporidia, that would be the diseases on the test.

They being the National committee. They either sent it out to the coaches as an informative email, or it was posted on the Disease Detective FAQs or clarifications. I know this was the case as our cheat sheet from last year specifically had an expanded section on it. And I remember discussing them.

I also do not have any recollection of such an important clarification. Additionally, that is not posted on the National Tournament website from last year (see
http://www.scienceolympiad2014.com/tour ... ationNotes and
http://www.scienceolympiad2014.com/virt ... eting.html). For those on the national committee, did I miss something?

I suspect there might have been a specific FAQ asked about those 2 diseases and whether they qualify as possible topics. I haven't heard us ever providing a list of topics outside whats in the rules for ANY event - that's generally not something we do.

I remember looking at the CDC website sometime in May, and seeing that it specifically said that the competitors(not me

) would be tested on Cryptosporidium and Asthma, and something about there being no statistics questions in B division, although i don't know if that's true or not.
