Re: Proudest Moments
Hmmm....tough one for me. It's one of the two:
1. Breaking into top 3 overall at states for the first time in school history (relatively short - 6 year history)
2. Getting second in air trajectory at states and beating out teams who had spent months on their devices - we spent only one weekend.

Re: Proudest Moments
Placing in the top 3 at regionals this year, for the first time in our school's history (also short- the school's about 4 years old).

Re: Proudest Moments
My updated proudest moment was when our school got a trophy at regionals for the first time- we had gotten two plaques before despite the school being 120 years old or something, but never in the top 3.

Re: Proudest Moments
Proudest moment that trumps all before: when the team I help coach qualified for Nationals yesterday after a long struggle with JC Booth, Dodgen, and bureaucracy.

Re: Proudest Moments
When Carmel placed 2nd in Indiana after a ten year hiatus from nationals and 2nd place. Although we won't be able to attend nats due to rules change, the amount of team and individual effort throughout the year was so rewarding.

Re: Proudest Moments
This pretty much covers it... Plus the fact that I -was- AM the only one on my team who knows any fossils, so had the 9th grader who tried out made it, I would've been carrying a 9th grader through the event!foreverphysics wrote:My proudest moment...
This would have to be waaay back in sixth grade, when I had just joined and literally knew nothing. Somehow, I made the State team for my school--and back then, it was pretty hard for sixth graders to make the competitive State team for the middle school.
