my coach asked me in, like, october if people were talking about events on the forums and I looked at him like he was insane because I'd been studying for months already and he was just realizing that we should organize some olympiad prep...

also, I have to add: when you have a typed list of all the event conflicts, which is serving as your team's master list, and you made copies for the coaches.

when you have to tell the class all of the info on the regional comp like the team number and make up copies of the scedules cause your coach know nothing about the team numbers being released

When you post on this form.
When you sign up for this fourm.
When you think of a reason that you know you've been in SO too long.
When you become an expert on your events and get a job involved in it.
When you know where 90 degrees north by 20 degrees west is.
When you laugh at some of the new teamates trying to build and scrambler for the first time and they mess up. Then you and the build one for them.

When your Earthsci teacher tells you that you know more about most of the information, so you're told to teach it.

When your (7th grade) teacher asks everyone what to do first on a scale, and you are the only one who says
"Calibrate it..."

When you have this obsessive urge to calibrate a triple beam balance every time you get one in science. (Left over Metrics weirdness)
