The school in last place is in Alabama.

EDIT: On second thought, they aren't that bad, considering that they managed to have over 15 percent of their school compete.
EDIT 2: Sorry to anyone who found that offensive.

Changing the subject...
There are 47 days left until March 9, the SE regionals (the first region to have a competition.)

Do you think that there will be trial events at regionals and states this year?

Probably at states, there are so many trial events listed on the SO website and PA usually has a few. At regionals, I think it depends on which region. I don't think ours has had trials, but it could be different for other regions.

Usually, there's two or three at states. In our region, there's NO trial events. Not that I care... I won't be able to do them, as I'm competing in the regular events.

Our region (SE) had trials for the first time last year. I was pretty sure that last year was the first year of trial events at states but I guess not. I didn't do the trial events because I was competing, but I still like the idea of them for the people that don't get to compete because they at least can get a taste of real competiton.

I think trial events are pretty awesome, especially when alternates get to do them. It gives everyone a chance to just have some fun and try out a new event without any real stress. Plus, it can be a good way to pass the time while waiting for scores...

what did you think of the step-dancing thing at Juniata last year (to take up time while the coaches were grading papers.

personally, that was actually pretty cool (i got bullied by my friends into doing it) + it passed the time... i hope they do it again next year.
