I believe optics ( one of this year's national trial events ) might replace bio processes lab. There is a chance that the helicopter design trial event might replace trajectory or bridge. As for model this, another national trial event, i have doubts whether it will replace an event but they may be a chance it would replace disease detectives, which i believe is in its last year. Model This could be one of the first national events having to do with computers.

Optics would probably replace either Physical Science Lab or Shock Value, since it is similar to both. Helicopter will almost certainly take over Wright Stuff, while Tower will likely replace Bridge and Sounds of Music replace Trajectory. Model This would come in for Compute This, since it also deals with computers

actually that sounds about right. But when I briefly did Disease Detectives earlier this year, my teacher of the event told us all that this was most certainly to him going to be the last year. IF so what replaces Disease detectives?

Possibly Microbe Mission, although I think that that is replacing Bio-Process Lab. Also, I don't think this is the last year for Disease, but I could be wrong.

Some of the events rotating in for next year are currently some of the trial events listed here. Microbe Mission is one of them.
I wouldn't totally rely on the trial event descriptions, though, as there will probably be some changes by the time the rule books are officially released for next year.
