Which isn't exactly the best combo... I don't care you have throwing the ball and who you have catching it, if you're isn't up to par it'l be a rough season. And same goes for defense, I don't care who's in the secondary, if the D-line and LB's can't stop the run... Yikes.

Personally, with no preference for the Eagles, think that they may just be the most over rated team of all time. I think they'll go 10-6, give or take a game. Of course they'll be pretty good, but you can't win if you can't win the battles up front (that goes for O-line and LB's), especially in the playoffs.

That's why I think the Patriots, Ravens, and Packers have to be the preseason favorites.
Other predictions:
- Colts miss the playoffs, Texans win the south.
- Bucs live up to expectations, make some noise in the playoffs.
- Pats win it all.

I think the NFC has finally gotten stronger than the AFC. But it's nice of all the Maine people to think the Patriots are going to win. I think that the two teams to watch this year are the Packers (as I am writing this they have just scored another touchdown) and the Falcons. The Patriots will likely have another good year, but I feel like they are on a decline. They aren't as dependent on Brady as the Colts with Manning (With the first overall pick...) but it's still a whole lot of reliance on one player. I think it will come down to the AFC North winner (or wild card) and probably the Chargers if they can stay consistent in the AFC.

Definitely not most-overrated, if not for Young's dream team comment there wouldn't be nearly as high expectations. They're going to be fine on defense, and I was mentioning their inexperience to emphasize that they weren't elite players. By no means are they incapable, and the D-line is well set to back them up. The O-line is going to be a source of some concern, but the rest of the offense is balanced. I say at least 10-6, with a real chance for a couple more wins.

That said, predictions (which I made on a softball field last week, and have not changed, except for AFC wild cards):

NFC East: Eagles [3rd seed]
NFC South: Saints [2nd seed]
NFC North: Packers [1st seed]
NFC West: Cardinals [4th seed]
Wild Cards: Falcons, Bucs
AFC East: Pats [1st seed]
AFC South: Texans [3rd seed]
AFC North: Steelers [4th seed]
AFC West: Chargers [2nd seed]
Wild Cards: Jets, Colts

NFC Playoffs:
Falcons over Cardinals
Eagles over Bucs

Saints over Eagles
Falcons over Packers

Falcons over Saints

AFC Playoffs:
Jets over Steelers
Colts over Texans

Pats over Colts
Chargers over Jets

Pats over Chargers

Super Bowl XLVI: Falcons over Pats
East Stroudsburg South Class of 2012, Alumnus of JT Lambert, Drexel University Class of 2017

Of course I'm going to pick the Pats, and not just cause I'm from Maine (MA actually, moved when I was 6), anyways the Pats are stacked. Again. Their defense will be better, the only question mark in my mind is the o-line when stacked up against the Jets pash rush (that playoff game was brutal). And Brady is Brady.

The Packers offense looked real good the other night, but their defense... Not so much. Of course, the Saints ofense is certianly a good one. So yeah, I still like the Pack. Here's my picks.

AFC-
East- Pats: 1st
North- Ravens: 2nd
South- Texans: 3rd
West- Chiefs: 4th
Wildcard- Steelers (5th), Jets (6th)]

NFC-
South- Falcons: 1st
North- Packers: 2nd
East- Eagles: 3rd
West- Rams: 4th
Wildcard- Saints (5th) Bucs (6th)
