25. Which of the following statements about P waves is FALSE
a. They squeeze and stretch rock material
b. They cause particles of rock to travel at right angles to the direction of the waves
c. They can travel through any material
d. They are also called primary waves.
wouldn't the answer be B?

Yeah, think it should, but the answer key confused me. I think they got it wrong.

Yeah, the answer is B. Anyone go to Athens and do Dynamic... Thought it was really easy...

Easiest DP test I took since 8th or 9th grade when my partner and I finished the Oceanography test at Regionals in 10 minutes.

Yeah, P waves are like a slinky (compress and stretch the rock), while S waves shake the rock up/down and side to side. What was the answer given on the test?

for that test for number 44, i think it was, when u had to name the types of volcanoes, i got marked wrong for putting stratovolcano for one of the descriptions but my friend got marked right for putting composite volcano. aren't they the same thing? everything i've studied said they were.......
