Identify a, b, and c
[hide]Hint:|[/hide]b and c are moons

(Hopefully this isn’t too confusing)
a. Haumea
b. Namaka
c. Hi'iaka
It was already answered but ok. Correct for all of them.
Your turn since there aren’t any questions.

Sorry I should have read closer lol. But my turn I suppose.

1. Why does Pluto probably rotate on its side?
2. What did New Horizons find on the outer edge of the solar system? Hint: Not a celestial body
3. Which constellation did 'Oumuamua come from?

Answers: 1. Polar wander--planets spin in a way that minimizes energy
2. Hydrogen wall
3. Lyra

I guess I'll start this back up.

1. What is a "Cold Classical KBO"?

2. What are the 3 criteria for a planet to be classified as a planet?

3. Mimas is the smallest astronomical body known to display what?

4. Which kinds of orbit did Oumuamua have?
a. Elliptical
b. Parabolic
c. Hyperbolic

Even though scioly is over for for me, I will answer anyway because why not.
1. Cubewano
2. - Round enough to maintain hydrostatic equllibrium (something like that)
- Clear its “neighborhood”
- Directly orbiting the sun
3. Hydrostatic equlllbrium
4. C

1. A nickname for it is "cubewano". However, it means a classical KBO that is more circular in orbit. Whereas a "Hot classical KBO" is a classical KBO with a elliptical orbit. 2. Correct 3. Correct 4. Correct
Your turn!
