...what about Springhouse?
Who? (let's see how long this will stay up till East removes it)
After Springhouse's "weak"ish performance at both Rustin (3rd and 22nd) and Garnet (2nd and 10th), its safe to say that they're a fair bit worse than last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Springhouse lost to SSA at states, or if Bala or Harlan made it to nats. Bala performed exceptionally well at Garnet (4th), with Harlan Rowe right behind them (just a 20 point difference). Cornell Invitational should be a good indicator on the four teams' performances.
That could very well be the case if either of those teams improve enough.
(also isn't bala not going to cornell?)
Orefield MS SO 2015-2018, Parkland HS SO 2019-2020
Medal/Ribbon Count
Invitational: 25
Regional: 16
State: 7
y o i n k s
Events: Anatomy and Physiology, Codebusters, Designer Genes, Protein Modeling
don't look at this its fake news now

Yep, Bala isn't going to Cornell, but Harlan Rowe, Springhouse, and SSA are.

Yeah I agree that this will be a great indicator for how all of the teams are doing. Also, SSA still hasn't gone to an invitational so nobody really knows how they are doing. Hopefully Solon and Cornell can provide some information on how the team is doing.

In addition to comparing teams to Solon, Beckendorff is a great indicator on how well they're doing. After their "downfall" at nats last year, their team seems stronger than ever, placing extremely well at UTA.

also feels like springhouse is dropping a bit compared to like last year cuz last year they beat community at gv by like 20 points and last year both of springhouse's teams beat bala by >100 points and like 70 points (rip)
this year however, community beat springhouse by like 60, and the gap between bala or harlan rowe and springhouse is closing up.
but cornell will be the first opportunity to get a real view on the all the top pa teams.
