Crime Busters B
Re: Crime Busters B
Hi, I've never done this event before, and I was wondering if there was any good resources for unknown substance stuff?

This was made by the Indiana state supervisor for crime busters, as well as the National Forensics supervisor.

Hi! I'm new to Crime Busters and I've never done the event before, so I was wondering what's a good score range in it?

Re: Crime Busters B
It depends on the test, but in general, at least from my experience with forensics, a lot of tests will be difficult to finish in time and you'll just want to do as much as you can and prioritize parts that give more points (especially the conclusion). I would say you should aim for being able to identify most of the samples and at least briefly explain in your conclusion why each suspect is or isn't a likely culprit using the evidence. As for the trivia, it varies from test to test how much there is, but if there is a lot, go for easy questions first (like questions asking for chemical formulas of the powders or whether a fiber is synthetic of natural) as you'll be able to get more points more quickly from them.hammiehan wrote:Hi!
