umm no it is by how many teams there are in the state states with more teams get more spots for nats states with less get one

first year
JV Districts- swimming- 2009- 7th in 100 Backstroke
2010- 8th in 500 Freestyle

i have competed since 7th grade... 10th grade this year....
then b4 that I went to a couple of regionals/states since my dad is the coach of the team and my brother was competing... and nationals I would go a couple of times not with my own team but as the son of coach and brother of the competitor
