It's not hurting anyone. The event's over for the next three years, so discussion strictly on the Fossils event is over. The only thing it's "hurting" is that people are getting higher post counts, and that's just a petty thing to complain about.

But if you're going back to look at the thread in 3 years' time, you're not really going to want to read meaningless small talk... it's just sifting through pointless posts at this point.
