Most any word processing program (such as MS Word, OpenOffice, etc.) let's you set very small fonts. Note in Word for example, the pull down list in the Font selector only lets you set 8 as the minimum by default. But if you just type in a smaller number (all the way down to 1), it will accept it.

Be sure to select a font designed for small sizes, such as Arial Narrow.

^^This is really good advice. I personally use Word and don't recommend google docs for scioly notes at all

Another thing is that below 2.5, the type gets too small to read easily, due to printers not being able to print it that well (in my experience the ink ends up being too blurred together), and it's just quite small in general. Furthermore, if you're using text boxes, make sure to make all the margins 0 and the line spacing single with no space at all to maximize the amount of words you can fit

...but yeah, I structured my Disease cheat sheet from last year entirely with text boxes. You can change the outline thickness and color, and since it's a cheat sheet you should also decrease the internal margins of the box as well (I think I used 0.02, enough to keep a bit of space between the outline and the text). To keep formatting simple, I kept all text in text boxes. I did put some pictures in the text boxes, and it wasn't too bad, though I'd still recommend trying to put images in a separate part of the cheat sheet if possible.

And yeah, as far as fonts are concerned, I usually go 4 or 5 Arial Narrow (kind of depending on the amount of space available). My A&P partner also did a thing where she abbreviated words that were used a ton of times (e.g. "bone" to "b.", "artery" to "art.", "nerve" to "n.", etc.). Not sure how she did it though.

Yeah, abbreviation is very useful; that was the only way I was able to fit so much on my A&P notesheet last year (er... two years ago ). I've never used Arial Narrow though; maybe I should try that out.

I took a screenshot of my submissions and went through and calculated my scores:

Event Predictions
Division B: 175
Division C: 212

Top Ten Predictions
Division B: 20
Division C: 15

Event predictions for both divisions were better for me this year. In Division C, I finally had a year in which I didn't get 50+ points from a single event (though, I did put MI Troy in for Experimental,so I guess there's still room for improvement). Top ten predictions were not nearly as good this year for me (though from what people have been saying, I'm not alone).

Yeah, 40 points. Was hoping for at least 30 this year, but...I mean, you saw the results...

Bernard recorded all submissions and started the code but it is on hold for a week as bernard has finals.

Bernard needs to go to a school that gets out earlier.
