Interesting trend in C: This is the third time in the last four years that the third-place team at the SEPA Regional has qualified for nationals.
Is it possible for you to start a Division C team at your school?1nxtmonster wrote:It really was a great competition this year! Congrats to Springhouse and Shady Side for moving on to Nationals.
Sadly this was my last year because my school has no division C team. But it's been a great run and competing with you all has been a pleasure. I hope however to see many of you at other competitions like TSA in the future. And good luck to everyone in the years to come!

Definitely look into it! There are probably other Division B grads who would be interested :D1nxtmonster wrote:Maybebernard wrote:Is it possible for you to start a Division C team at your school?1nxtmonster wrote:It really was a great competition this year! Agreed. We only have 1 advisor who signs our paperwork while the rest is entirely student-run, and we've had a fair amount of success over the years.EastStroudsburg13 wrote:They key would be getting someone willing to act as an advisor. If you can manage that, then much of the actual studying/building can be student-run if necessary. You wouldn't be likely to qualify for states in your first couple years, but you'd be setting the foundation for future success down the line!

Like last year, each person got 5 points for each team they got exactly right, 3 for each team for whom they were one place off, 2 for two places off, 1 for more places off, but they still included the team in the rankings, and 0 if the team did not finish in the top 10:
Division B:
1. AlphaTauri - 29 points (won tiebreaker)
2. finagle29 - 29
3. trentomology1999 - 27
4. UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F - 27
5. rockhound - 24
Division C:
1. frogzorz - 30
2. chemguy - 29
3. jonpao523 - 27
4. Algorhythmic - 27
5T. EastStroudsburg13 - 26
5T. ReBobville - 26 (we submitted the same tiebreaker score!)
Combined:
1. finagle29 - 53
2. EastStroudsburg13 - 50
3. rs11 - 45
4. rockhound - 45
5. ckssv07 - 41

Aww, I'll have to do that next season! What is TSA by the way?
