Yeah, you don't need to study, but you need to practice a ton with tests and excursuses, which my partner and I are doing. Also we have been working on memorizing the topo map key, so we don't have to refer to the binder every time. Also, the thing about road scholar is, is that you almost always make some stupid mistake in calculations or something like that.zerasaw wrote:Road Scholar (Div. B). All you do is read maps. Fossils - easy concepts, easy ID, no calculations, and there’s only like three or four sources for some of the fossils so you don’t have to worry about the ES putting info you don’t have on the test

Probably semi-unpopular opinion but I felt astro was super easy to learn and do reasonably well on. It may seem daunting at first but it's not too bad.

hovercraft - after I got the basic design right my builds in both div b and c ran amazingly (~0.5s off at nats 2017 and 0.01s off at my only invite as a div c freshman)
