How does the medaling at nationals work? I know the top 6 medal but are there 2 gold medal teams and 2 silver etc. or what?

Im not sure what you mean. Each division works separately, if thats what you mean, and for each division, the number 1 team gets gold, 2, silver, and so on till 6th.
