Albuquerque Area Homeschoolers Rock!
Yeah! Go Homeschoolers! Hope to join the homeschooling bandwagon in Orlando :D
We SOOOOO hope to join you there. It's six weeks til State tourney. We're crammin'. This year we might stand a chance...

The homeschoolers there should all get together -- oh, wait, we can't do that because we're antisocial.

Hailing from AL:
For Div B:
Drake Middle School, from Auburn.
Auburn Junior High School, also from Auburn.

For Div C:
Randolph High School, from Huntsville.
Auburn High School, from Auburn. (maybe? Dunno.)

Whee! We're on the Nationals bandwagon!

Obviously Solon, J.C. Booth and Paul J Gelinas are all going to nationals... I hope we (ExCEL) goes this year, but we have tough competition up north and locally! Should be another great year of Science Olympiad :D

Only if AL gets 2 bids…

Um...because we had Science Bowl, MathCounts, and State Spelling Bee on the same day as States, and that kinda sucked away a large portion of the good people. Also, we had about ten million conflicts...and the middle school team didn't.
Also because my team has issues with studying and prepping. Especially my DP partner. We were THREE POINTS off...but still...I'm probably going to Nats, whether AL gets two bids or not, because I will be jumping the bus with the middle school.

How could they not schedule a single one of those competitions on a different date? That's extremely unlucky...

I know, right? And I qualified for every single one of those competitions...in the end, I picked SO. That was a hard choice to make...

WHY would you pick SO over MathCounts? :o

...Because I value science over math and Science Olympiad is worth more to me than MathCounts? Because I have a decent chance of going to Nats for SO and NO chance for MathCounts? Because I'm not very smart and that tends to show up more in MathCounts?

I could never do MathCounts because I end up making petty mistakes EVERY time I take some sort of math test. I forgot to carry over a negative into the next step when solving a problem on this last test...fail...
