I do believe that many people know that 1+1=2 and that the order of the colors of the rainbow go ROYGBIV without society having to parrot it constantly.
I actually did not know that second one
Point proven?

Wait, what? Isn't that... common knowledge? Just like the fact that the Sun is a star. But yeah, your point is proven (unfortunately).

I was thinking bottle rocket, towers, and junkyard challenge for div b. Whatever doesn't use metal or explosives.

Well, the tower might break during transportation, seeing as it's made of thin wood...
As for JYC, it might be an issue if the team was planning to bring a pair or two of scissors. Same might be for Bottle Rocket, depends on how you pack it. (Although having all of these events would be pretty sweet

) I'm pretty sure those aren't allowed on planes.
Maybe Mission Possible?

Towers could be assembled on arrival

I think that Junkyard Challenge would be pretty ideal if we ever had Internats. (Maybe the event supervisors could provide the scissors to prevent any airline hassles?) However, bringing stuff like tape, plastic items, and popsicle sticks seems pretty safe. And not much translating to do either!
