Well, everyone has a different way of learning. Some people make notecards and that's great if it works for them. Personally, I just read stuff and absorb it, without taking down notes, and I do copious amounts of practice questions (i.e. every single pertinent question I can get my hands on). It's different for everybody. So while notecards can be great, don't waste the time making all the note cards if you know that you learn better another way.Starapollo1 wrote:http://www.soinc.org/ecology_ccallmesandi wrote:Can you guys PLEASE help me to trace a carbon atom through the taiga? i have no idea how that would work and my coach didn't explain it very well. Check out the national power point and it will walk you trough the cycles PLUS a little of how they pertain to the Taiga AND Tundra. There is a lot of useful info in there as well about other things that you'll need to know! I would suggest looking at it and starting to make notecards over the information, my friend who is our team's main ecology person (she is amazing) has literally made hundreds of notecards and she always does amazing at competitions so i'm assuming it's the right thing to do... good luck
