back to fossils (thanks robotman) i enjoy how i've been doing this event for the third year and i still havent bought a field guide.
2010: 5th in NYS
2011: 4th in NYS
2012: 3rd in NYS

You haven't bought a field guide? I have 3 or 4. What do you do, borrow one from the library?

no. i dont use field guides. i will probably this year for ornithology, but fossils all i need is in the binder.

I just use the field guide because I can, but I've never needed it. And how are you doing Ornithology and Fossils?

well, at least for regionals, and im trying to email the director to show him my layout for a possible schedule this year.

id say im pretty dedicated for the most part. fossils are the bomb, though.
speaking of fossils, one of my problems was always the identification of how it was preserved. can someone lend me a hand there?

I have to say that I'll be of no help. Anything I did know I have since forgotten, and that was always my weakest point.

field guide? this is not birds, there r only like 5 fossils on the list u could see "in the field"
