Well my first thought is to look for anyone who has posted about Greek mythology, maybe percy jackson, but that might just be more hints for ID

Could indicate that they went to Mit? Or that they went to the DMAH meetup there (picture on the DMAH wiki page) - that would be sciolyperson1, builderguy135, lindsmaurer, umaroth, silverbreeze, literalrhinoceras, MadCow2357, and waffletree.
umaroth and silverbreeze are in california, so they can't be the assasinator, but everyone else is fair game. Waffletree is the only one from PA, but she hasn't been active in a while so I sort of doubt it's her.
I'm probably going down the wrong path lol.

Hephaestus' roman name is Vulcan. Maybe this is pointing to Star Trek, which goes with what Booknerd was thinking.

The DMAH meetup would make sense. I don't think this is going on the wrong path.
Let's just wait a little bit longer, and if more of the clues point towards waffletree, we'll chose to accuse her.

The h=1 was at size 2, and the three letters above were at size 101.
Also lowkey think that Umaroth is the sassy's assistant, but I definitely could be wrong.

The protect last round could've been hiding his identity and grabbing an accusation so no one else could actually accuse
It also couldve just been a regular protect though

I recognize xor as a digital logic gate (thank you circuit lab!). it returns true if the number of true inputs is odd.

I would definitely look into the DMAH thing, specifically Madcow.... He's been a "Dark Knight" before.

I'm not the assistant, I have a screenshot of the sassy sending me the clue if you want to see (I don't know how to add an image on a forums post).
My first thought with Vulcan was Star Trek, I believe I had a conversation about Star Trek with Nydauron on TPBM. Vulcan could also refer to volcanoes, in which case it could be someone who does geomaps or dp.

I think the hahas are a binary code, where h=1 and a=0, but I don't think it's ascii
