Could indicate that they went to Mit? Or that they went to the DMAH meetup there (picture on the DMAH wiki page) - that would be sciolyperson1, builderguy135, lindsmaurer, umaroth, silverbreeze, literalrhinoceras, MadCow2357, and waffletree.
umaroth and silverbreeze are in california, so they can't be the assasinator, but everyone else is fair game. Waffletree is the only one from PA, but she hasn't been active in a while so I sort of doubt it's her.

Hephaestus' roman name is Vulcan. Maybe this is pointing to Star Trek, which goes with what Booknerd was thinking.

The DMAH meetup would make sense. I don't think this is going on the wrong path.

Let's just wait a little bit longer, and if more of the clues point towards waffletree, we'll chose to accuse her.

My first thought with Vulcan was Star Trek, I believe I had a conversation about Star Trek with Nydauron on TPBM. Vulcan could also refer to volcanoes, in which case it could be someone who does geomaps or dp.
