EDIT: @Littleboy Higher Population + More technology + more developed and competitive world = higher spending = the need for the government to get more money somehow, that's just how it is. Clinton left us with one of the biggest surplus' we've had in our nations history and Reagan spent a ton. You can't go and single out the last two democratic presidents we've had and call it all their fault.

Has little say what is brought will him... really? How come all of the friends? He has been visiting people a very long time, and it does not seem like it is working very well if they still hate us. Stop spending our money on vacations and fix the problems. That vacation was not recommend by the right wing in the least bit. It was his decision. Acording to you it will not be free. Fine. But then how will every one be ensured? What about the people who do not want to be ensured?

How many presidents do you think would want to make such a huge deal of security and their presence so fox news can jump on a complete false claim? You don't seem very aware as to how international relations work.....visiting those nations is the easiest way to show your commitment to a cause and your wish to have good relations with the nation in question. It's also the easiest way to connect with the common person. Many nations would feel that the US would "have it's foot out the door" in regards to an issue because it isn't willing to solve it face to face. I haven't any idea how you read that as me saying the right wing recommended it. The right wing pounced on a completely false claim made by an Indian newspaper. I think it's been deemed unconstitutional at this point (Which I have my own problems with....) but people we're to be required to obtain health care or pay a fine of some sort.

How on earth is that a reason a country hates us? That's china realizing that with the US in recession hard assets are more profitable.
