You know you've been in SoCal too long when you wake up and look at the red sunlight through the window and think "fires again?! Wait sunrise. Wait, no fires. Wait, sun-"

You know you've been in the midwest too long when you feel more comfortable driving through a cornfield in the middle of nowhere than a city.

You know you've been in southeast PA too long when you've grown so used to pronouncing "water" like "wooder" to make fun of people here that you almost automatically say it like that now

You know you've been in Hawaii too long when...
1. You go to a mainland McDonald's and order a spam and Portuguese sausage breakfast platter, only to be disappointed to realize they don't serve it
2. Same smell, but with Fanta Fruit Punch
3. You refer to the continental United States as the mainland
4. You use Hawaiian pidgin frequently (ex. Hoo shoots brah, you like go Alas later? Gon' have choke scraps with buggahs from west side)
5. The mention of the food poke by a non-local triggers you (I had to do a double take when I saw Umaroth's poll a while ago)
