Ditto but I'm kinda glad cuz she wldnt take my advice cuz I wuz a year yunger and she was "bttr"(but tht was only to herself) She was kind of a snot. But she was partner nonetheless

Can sum1 go over azimuth and bearing/the difference between the two? i sorta 4got since last yr. I need refreshment...

I think (emphasis on think) that a bearing is the direction that you are facing,and you get it by using a compass. The azimuth is used on the map you make, and is used for finding which direction a straight line (road, railroad, telephone line, etc.) goes. You find this using a protractor.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me, it's been a while since I actually did this event myself, the past year in regionals and states I had conflicts. On the bright side, the guys I mentored (sort of) did well.
