Bucket Shots - Trajectory B/C

My team is creating a bucket shot graph because we have way too much spare time. We've realized that to make the projectile stay in, you have to hit it in a certain spot, depending on how large the bucket is. My question is: 1) has anyone else made a bucket shot graph or are you staying with the normal graphs for regular shots and B) has anyone so far attempted a bucket shot in a practice tournament / invitational etc.? We've gotten some good scores but not on the first shot, so we've decided each time that it would be more beneficial to go for the regular target instead of the bucket shot.

What angles are you shooting at?

For the bucket shots, can we move our device inside the square to face the bucket shot, lining it up, or does the trajectory machine have to accommodate the bucket shots that are moved to the sides without the base moving?

You should be able to adjust your device between each shot so I see no reason to think this would not also apply to the bucket shots.

You are allowed to turn your machine to face the bucket, providing it does not go outside the square, of course.

Might it be easier to simply place the firing part of your device on a turn table (like in a Microwave?)

You'd have to come up with a way to make sure the turn table doesn't turn while you are taking a shot. I think it would be just as easy or easier to move it manually.

Just put something there to jam it, like a piece of wood, a doorstop...or a brick.

Also, my team's been having issues trying to drill the guide hole for the rod that the arm rotates on. For some reason, we can't seem to drill through the wood at a 90 degree angle and it ends up all crooked. Any pointers?

Drill press?
