1. Genus - Sistrurus Family - Viperidae
2. A rattlesnake will start by shedding its skin at a very fast rate and will add a rattle each time it sheds. As the snake gets older the frequency of shedding its tail will decrease and the rattle length will increase at a much slower rate.
3. These snakes live in marshes, swamps, and other wetlands.
4. False - This species is considered to be of Least Concern.
