So what kind of times should people be expecting?

Honestly, I was hoping for a tall gym :(

I welcome a 20-25 foot gym, I think it is a harder optimization problem. Anyone can wind up and point up!

If 20', I would expect 2:30 to 2:45, if 25, perhaps 3 minutes.

Has anyone seen this years list of national ESs?

EDIT: It also looks like all the teams from one state share a homebase?

Honestly, it's not like it matters... the writing style of the tests is usually pretty consistent though.

It actually matters a lot and that is only true for events that are sponsored (disease) or have a set supervisor (forensics, chem lab)

Full agreement here. Chem Lab is a good example of an event where being prepared for the event supervisor's particular test style can have a drastic impact on placement, although it applies to all events.

Most people look at the ES's previous tests though, I do too.
