Re: SciOly Assassination 115: Pictures at an Exhibition
This is David, from the Biblical Allusion David and Goliath, in which the mighty Goliath is felled by David's slingshot.
Why was the "L" in Michelangelo capitalized? In any case, Michelangelo may refer to the artist who created the statue, or painted the frescos in the Vatican. It could also refer to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Michelangelo.
Might this clue have anything to do with A&P?

I guess the Sassy din't feel like including the statue's junk.daydreamer0023 wrote:The picture is the top half of Michelangelo's David.Assassinator wrote:Nearly fifty thousand were found dead amongst the rubble at Hiroshima, including Person. The impact of the bomb left imprints in stone of those killed instantly and objects in the path of explosion.
Here, we see a different imprint of man, immortalized by MicheLangelo in 1644. Perhaps a subject of the ranks of informal physicians, suggested by his health superior to that of the common man. However, the detailed muscularity of his hands suggests he was a master of trade, perhaps an artisan like Da Vinci.

I believe the typo in the first clue was fixed(unless there was another typo), so I don't think that's it. I think the capitalized L is significant though.dragonfruit35 wrote:
EDIT AGAIN: Is it my imagination or has there been a typo in every clue? Is something being spelled out?
Also, this.

Wow, I thought I was the only one noticing this. I thought it was a coincidence at first, but it probably isn't so I'll try to break it down.dragonfruit35 wrote: EDIT AGAIN: Is it my imagination or has there been a typo in every clue? Is something being spelled out?
In the sassy's first post, introducing the game, they did not make any typos. In the second post, about the railroad, they initially wrote "Howad Fogg" instead of "Howard Fogg" (omitting the r). This was mentioned by a civilian, and the sassy consequently corrected it. In the third post, with the picture of Mao, they wrote "movemets" instead of "movements" (omitted the n). This was not brought up or corrected. They also wrote "aeroplane" instead of "airplane" which is not wrong but kind of strange. In the fourth post, in which East was killed, they wrote "remaine" instead of "remain" (added an e). This was not brought up or corrected. In the fifth post, which was a response to Texas, there were no typos. The sixth post, killing Person, did not have any typos either, but did have the weird capitalization "MicheLangelo." By the way, I did all of this with an online spellcheck tool to minimize mistakes.
I'm not sure if this is relevant, but the image for the avatar was titled "10640.png." Google searching "10640" returned a lot of random products, but what stood out was an NCBI page about a gene known as "10640."

It's clearly the David, Alex.Alex-RCHS wrote:Wow, I thought I was the only one noticing this. Regarding the new avatar, I tried reverse image searching it and got nothing as well. I'm pretty sure this is because it is a PNG file, and the only pixels present are black, so it turns up images that are also entirely black (for this reason I found mostly images of solid black squares). I turned the file into a JPG, making the background white instead of transparent, and reverse searched it. All of the results returned were silhouettes of the statue of David. This makes me think that the sassy is saying that they are David. That would mean that the victim is Goliath. I didn't find any users named Goliath, and only a few posts mentioning it (all of the users had not been active for >4 months). In the sassy's first post, introducing the game, they did not make any typos. In the second post, about the railroad, they initially wrote "Howad Fogg" instead of "Howard Fogg" (omitting the r). This was mentioned by a civilian, and the sassy consequently corrected it.
