You need to work on your notesheet skills

lol I made a note sheet that was point 4.5 font or something and managed to fit in info for all of the diseases except like 5, though obviously if anyone does that they should be careful if they can actually read it

I gave my partner one job and it was to memorize basic disease info. I ended up doing it too, and memorizing was super advantageous during crunch stations w/ lots of questions and little time to use notesheets. (I learned this the hard way.)

My partner and I devoted one side of our notesheet to disease info. It's useful but we ended up accidentally memorizing a lot of it already.
At regionals we had one station that was 20 questions in 4 minutes, all disease related. I imagine that type of thing is typical on most Microbe tests.

For our cheat sheets, we usually write things that we won't remember like a specific diagnostic for a disease or specific virulence factors. We have a decent amount of pictures and everything is 5pt font. On a side note, has anyone been disappointed with a lack of quality microbe tests? Our states had 7 stations with maybe 2 in-depth FRQs. If the Nationals test asks us to label another mitochondria I think I might just walk out of the event

My partner for Microbes at the West Ottawa invite considered labeling a mitochondrion in a cell diagram as "Mr. Department of Energy."
