Since there is no question posted, I'll ask one. Name three types wood-cutting and list the pros and cons of each one.
Shelter-Wood-Cutting: Pros: Sustainable, trees are left to grow back. Cons: Young trees can be damaged by wind. Selective-Cutting: Pros: Most of the habitat is left. Cons: Process is invasive, expensive. Some trees do not repopulate well, such as pines and firs. Clear-Cutting: Pros: Are there any? High profit. Cons: Causes environmental issues, e.g. habitat loss, soil runoff, deforestation, desertification.

What two gases are responsible for acid rain? Include the reactions that produce their respective acids.
This is from a previous year and is not applicable this year.asdfqwerzzz2 wrote:What two gases are responsible for acid rain? Include the reactions that produce their respective acids.
The two compounds are SO2 and NOX. Depending on if its NO or NO2 different acids will form. But here they are 2SO2+O2-->2 SO3 SO3 + H2O --> H2SO4 NO+H2O--> HNO2 NO2+H2O--> HNO3
