I'm taking SAT on June 6th and ACT on June 13th. This is my first time taking SAT. For the ACT I got:
Composite: 28
Reading: 30
English: 28
Math: 27
Science: 25
My 2010 Events
Elevated Bridge-7th
Trajectory-1st

700 Math
590 Reading
670 Writing
I'm taking it again in May and hope to get around 2100

I'm in 9th grade, our district has 7-8-9 junior high schools. I'm taking M.

What is the Best SAT I Prep Book? (Kaplan, Barron, etc.?)
2010 Events: Anatomy, Astronomy, Cell Biology, Protein Modeling

I personally like Princeton and Barron.

wow that's interesting. So on your HS transcript there are only 3 years? Is your 10th grade year called freshman year or sophomore year?

No, 9th grade still goes on your high school transcript, and the 10th graders are sophomores... we're still freshmen, we're just at the junior high rather than the high school :-P It's actually not that bad, though, since it's just what we're used to.

I'd have to say that Princeton writes a lot of GARBAGE for the reading/writing. and all their questions are a different style compared to the real SAT.

Barrons...well they're not as hard as the other ones, but (especially the math) cover the topics extremely well. 2 points. :D

So the books I recommend are:

The official SAT guide (durrr)

Barrons Math

Word Smart for Vocabulary (both 1 and 2)

Finally, RocketReview Revolution (its on amazon) is a really good crash course that covers everything. Good for Reading and if you have like 3 months before the test before you realize you should study (NOT RECOMMENDED)
