If two tasks are done at once (Ex. a spring that pulls a third class lever, both g & i) would both be counted as completed tasks and points be rewarded? Would they be counted separately? Would they both be counted but only one scored?

The example you are giving is actually two separate tasks. The spring would come first and then the lever would move. The way to think about the task order isn't by timing, because sometimes things happen very quickly or almost at the same time. Instead, think about it in a causality. That is each task must cause the next. For example, the spring is moving in your device and causes the lever to move. If the spring fails to move, the lever will not move either.

I'm new to MP and our team had a couple items we had questions on and are hoping some of the experts out there can help us out.

- The pre-marked line for task m must be at least 10/20/30cm above mass, can it be higher above it if we want?
- If doing special task l, does the mass need to be removable to be weighed?

TX in advance!

Most of us here are new to MP. I'm new to MP. This is either the first time MP has EVER been a B event, or the first time in a very long time. People, quit saying you're new. WE KNOW.
Just wanted to put that out there.
And to answer your questions in order: 1) It says at least. What does that imply? 2) To be safe, you should probably make it so.

Actually, it was an event 5 or 6 years ago. I don't think that is a long time. But even then it was fairly different than what I understand it to be now.

For those of you who have been to any competitions or people who have recorded their scores, what scores have you all been getting?

Hey, hey now. Not my fault my team started on December 3rd. And then, of course, we had to stop for Christmas break...
