Haha I love watching that too, but I hate that like 90% of the words aren't even English.

Now that's hardly fair to have a spelling bee in English yet have most of the words as foreign words that have morphemes and pronunciations that are different than English.

There are plenty of difficult English words, why resort to asking Hawaiian and French?
I participated in it, but seriously, I can't get out of the regionals.
First- School easy competition
2nd: Harder school competition with 6 pretty good spellers
3rd: Regionals with atleat30 kids, 15-25% of spellers get out on 1st round :o

That's what I do. Oh yeah, an watching Salman Khan's trig movie, like once or twice. Khanacademy.org is a really good website.

Let's see, there are a few...
1.) I started calculating the optimal angle and velocity at which to throw a basketball to get it into the net (out loud, in the middle of P.E.)
2.) I started yelling at a girl in Italian, then getting confused as to why no one understood me.
3.) I created a code language involving a combination of German, Japanese, Old English, and morse code.
Hello, I'm John.

Sherlock (after doing something in reverse): Reverse pyschology!
Me: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Lestrade: Inconcievable!
Sherlock: I know what it means, I just like saying it.
Mrs. Hudson: You guys are awesome!
