Actually CLC, COD, and Champaign Regionals are all this weekend. It's going to be a blast. I can't wait to see this board explode Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Is everyone ready? Or at least getting there? I'm actually sort of ahead. I'm ready on Ornithology, a few more things to add to Fossils (but then I need to print out all my new pages :P ), me and my Forensics partner are having a Chemical Race during lunch tomorrow, and my Mission Possible friends (all girls like me) are spending Friday night at my house to cram and make last minute adjustments. On the bus in the morning, me and my ex-orno partner will go through my morning ritual of going through all the birds one by one. Any other fun traditions you guys have?
There once was a group of teens
Who were lean mean science machines.
They liked to win medals,
when everything settles
and their favorite color was green.

Traditions?? We don't have any but those on our team last year remember that at regionals when we miraculously made it to state, since it was our first year and we weren't sure if we could make it to state Or not, it RAINED and when we did Okayish at state it was a light drizzle ;) and then at regionals this year it snowed and we didn't just BARELY make it to state but were 5 points off from being 3rd overall!!! So were crossing our fingers that it snows at stat, though that's highly unlikely, and hopping that it will at least RAIN at state...... pretty weird, huh??? :D still crossing my fingers!!!!!

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.

Our team made Sectionals for Scholastic Bowl.
It's on the same day as COD Regionals.
Scholastic bowl has the same coach as SciOly at our school.
He thinks I'm more of an asset to Scholastic Bowl.
I'm not going to regionals.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Really? After working 5 long, ardous months on memorizing everything from galaxy types to protein structure?
Today is not my day. :?

Augh, that's absolutely horrible! A lot of our members, both varsity and JV, overlap with schobowl as well (I myself am not in it, though), but I think most of us have a greater commitment to Science Olympiad than to the other science teams at our school. Also, none of them have the same coach.
Why won't your coach let you choose? It doesn't make sense for him to make you go to one while the whole time you're wishing you were at the other.

They're dividing the awards at CLC...that's weird. Do they do that anywhere else? Yeah, it saves time, but I kinda like the whole thing all together.
