Fyren's time was running out. She had to go before anyone could see her.

Tick tock.

At least she had the advantage. They wouldn't think it was her walking around. They didn't know that her legs weren't broken.

Tick tock.

She got up from her corner in the hallway. Footsteps were approaching, but whose were they?

Tick tock.

...

Tick tock.

...

Bang.

She never bothered to see who she shot. All that mattered is that they were dead now.

Tick tock.

Fyren began walking towards the main exit. If she went any other way, it would take too long.

...

She paused. The clock had stopped ticking. How symbolic. She turned around to see TheChiScientist.

"You seem to have recovered fast." He looked over at her with a deadpan expression, trying not to show how terrified he was. Fyren simply nodded, waiting for more.

"Do you know what that loud bang was?" He didn't know why he bothered asking anymore. He knew it was her. He saw Booknerd's body fall on the floor just now.

"Not sure. Could've just been debris." Fyren spoke with genuine confusion. Was he stalling? Well, his loss.

Bang.

Fyren ran for the exit. She had missed him. She tried to shoot again, but she had run out of bullets.

She reached the doors. Fyren looked back at TheChiScientist. He hadn't moved from his position. She raised an eyebrow and grabbed at the doorhandle. It wouldn't open.

"How do you feel?" SilverBreeze walked in from the performance hall, visibly struggling to keep herself as composed as possible.

Fyren spoke no words. She knew she was stuck.

"Good."

Fyren began walking around. She didn't know where she was headed anymore.

SilverBreeze and TheChiScientist watched quietly. They had called the police as soon as they realized it was her. All they had to do now was wait.

"So?" Fyren spoke with an odd calm in her voice.

"What?" TheChiScientist quipped back, wondering what she had planned now.

"Any last words?"

Boom.

[END OF CASE FILE]

So yeah... this was the ending that was supposed to happen.
