WOW. What grade are you in? I'm going to be a sophomore. I wanted to do French 3 to get to French 6 by 12th grade... I might do 4 next summer, if they have that. You are lucky to be doing chem I am soooo excited for IB chem and IB physics next year.

When you stay up until 1 doing Biology Extra Credit because it is really fun (and, you already have a 104 average in the class).

I feel so depressed about my nerdiness. I haven't even memorized the whole periodic table of elements yet. I'm only halfway, at caesium...

When you tutor upperclassmen.

When your friends at school ask you "what did you do over the weekend?" and you have to reply studied for sci oly, studied for school, or try and make up a lie that you had a wonderful time out with your friends...

When all your friends have the middle name "@"

When your too lazy to get your graphing calculator and look for one online instead (and find one, of course)

When someone asks you what your favorite color is and you say "FF00CC"

Im gonna be a Sophomore too...and its just an introductory chem course that im taking to fulfill the prerequisite for AP Chem.

you are in all honors classes your freshman year and would love to be taking AP Calculus and AP Physics (I put them down as alternates)

When you spend most of your spare time reading for fun. my friends think i'm crazy.

when you yell in the middle of a quiet class, "hey! that's my voltmeter!" really loud and everyone looks at you!

when someone calls you a nerd like it's a bad thing, and that brightens your day!

And, when you go on a flight and look up the wind velocity so that you can find the velocity and heading of your plane...

On the other hand, I prefer looking at girls to thinking about the physics of sports. Does that make me not a nerd? *hopeful*
