I expect top ten from both schools. FM is almost always top ten, and WM is having its best season in years.
Too bad I graduated, I want to compete again =/

Anyone else up for Divison D, College level? :D

But yeah, FM always does well, and WM has a solid team this year.
Hey, last season was your best season in years, until this one. You get credit for team building.

Thomas Jefferson Middle School: 92
Wilbur Wright Middle School: 148

....both of which pale before Bloomington's scores. Especially ours. 74? That's incredible....
In Indiana, it's easier for a weaker school in Division B to medal in some events because relatively strong schools(like us, WWMS) bomb certain events(Compute This, most building events, etc.), and most schools can medal in a few events. But in Division C, it's mostly just a ton of domination by Bloomington.

But historically, the strongest Indiana team has been Thomas Jefferson which is a division B team.

I'd say historically (until recent years) division B on a whole has been more competitive in Indiana than division C. Though in the past few years, state competitions in C have gotten more competitive (at least at the top). This year, Bloomington South won with the greatest lead in the last 5 years, and that was only 12 points. I'm hopeful for Indiana C teams getting out of the double digits in future national competitions.

I was judging by point values. Both Bloomington North and South had a better score than TJ. Though, obviously, TJ is the strongest, even TJ doesn't medal in several events.

Well, both our Yankton teams made it again. It was a little scary though - Division B was five points away from second, and division C was only two points away. So, let's see how we'll do~!
My name is Eileen.
I'm a proud Aspie girl.
My events are Physical Science Lab (first at state), Ornithology (first at state), and Shock Value (third at state), this year.
We're going to NATIONALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I am from Yankton, South Dakota.

From Kansas, division B teams:

California Trail Jr. High - 114 pts
Leawood Middle - 150 pts

Only the top two teams make it. My team:
Oregon Trail Jr. High - 152 pts

So close!
