1.
fetch, wind speed, wind duration
2.
a rate of the amount of water movement
3.
idrk but im guessing its an element that can be used to trace water masses.
1) Correct.
2) More specifically equivalent to 1*10^6 m^3/s.
3) Tritium is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen with 2 neutrons. I'm pretty sure it would be used for tracing like you've said.
Umaroth's corrections are right, so I believe they get to ask questions next

Since Umaroth didn't make questions:
1)What does a CTD measure?
2)What did the MMPA (Marine Mammal Protection Act) do?
3)What percent of the oceans are deemed unexplored (sorry for the randomness)?

1. A CTD measures conductivity, temperature and depth.
2. I don't really know, is it an act that protects marine mammals off the coast of the US?
3. I don't really like this question because it is very vague. What does "unxplored mean? The total volume of the ocean is about 1.4 billion cubic km(thanks Fermi) and I can't imagine humans have been to more than a ten-thousandth of that? So maybe 99.99%?

For 1: A CTD actually measures conductivity, temperature, and pressure. They use pressure to determine depth.
2: the MMPA protected marine mammals from potentially harmful human activities. (you mostly got that one).
3: When you google it is comes up as 95%, so that's what I went with.
Your turn!

Lets revive this:
1)What is a fully developed sea?
2)Waves operating on the Water/Air interface are known as _______________________________?
3)Waves operating on the Air/Air interface are known as __________________________________?
4)Waves operating on the Water/Water interface are known as _____________________________?
5)In the water molecule, what is the bond angle between the hydrogen atoms (in degrees please)?

1. when the waves are as high as they can be for the fetch and wind speed
2. wind wave? progressive wave?
3. wind
4. internal wave
5. lets guess 30???
lol i think i got most of them wrong bUt cool questions! (especially the interface wave questions)

1 is good. 2 is just ocean wave or water wave. 3 is atmospheric waves. 4 is good. 5 is 105 degrees.
Your turn!

yay for insolation!
1. what is the difference between shortwave and longwave radiation?
2. how far does shortwave radiation penetrate and what can effect its penetration depth?
2. As a percentage of the earth's energy budget, how much longwave radiation is latent heat flux and what does this energy do?

Name the reefs:
1. A reef that grows along the shoreline.
Fringing Reef
2. A reef that grows parallel to the continent but is far away so it can create a large lagoon.
Barrier Reef
3. The highest part in the reef.
Reef Crest
4. A circle shaped reef that can form a lagoon in the middle of the ocean.
Atoll

That's correct. Your turn!
