1)What does a CTD measure?
2)What did the MMPA (Marine Mammal Protection Act) do?
3)What percent of the oceans are deemed unexplored (sorry for the randomness)?

1. A CTD measures conductivity, temperature and depth.
2. I don't really know, is it an act that protects marine mammals off the coast of the US? 3. I don't really like this question because it is very vague. What does "unxplored mean? The total volume of the ocean is about 1.4 billion cubic km(thanks Fermi) and I can't imagine humans have been to more than a ten-thousandth of that? So maybe 99.99%?

For 1: A CTD actually measures conductivity, temperature, and pressure. They use pressure to determine depth.
2: the MMPA protected marine mammals from potentially harmful human activities. (you mostly got that one).
3: When you google it is comes up as 95%, so that's what I went with.
