Take your school's Earth Science course. For us, it's mandatory as 9th graders. For this event, it helps a LOT.

That's kool that your school has a earth science class. I go to this SUPER small school and our old science teacher(she was only there for a semester) taught us nothing and our new one doesn't go into that kinda stuff.
