Yeah, if anyone has some solid tests, it'd be awesome to see them on the wiki.

Try the Wiki. It has some pretty good information. http://scioly.org/wiki/Disease_Detectives
EDIT: Basically, know the ten steps of an outbreak investigation really well. Research each step, and figure out the equations necessary. Odds ratio, relative risk, attack rate...

Do we need to know more about the history of epidemiology? I have had a few examples of history questions, but they were major events like John Snow's cholera thing. Has anyone else here had those types of problems, and is history allowed by the rules? This is really bugging me so I would love some help.

The thing about Disease Detectives is that you never really know exactly what you need to study, because you never really know what's going to be on the test... :(

Hey everyone,
Does anyone know a good source for tests besides the test exchange @the wiki, and EXCITE? If they had answer keys that'd be even better. :)
I've scoured the internet for tests and I've found a couple on various websites. But, my partner and I go through them pretty quickly and it'd help if we could practice more.
Thanks!

So we had state on Saturday (we took first overall, but 12th - our team's worst rank - in disease), and the test was about coral reef. We didn't touch our cheat sheet. Just felt like complaining to you guys. It was a pretty big "WTF, mate?" moment. I'm not sure how 11 teams did so well...

Has anyone had stations at their test? I never have and I am not sure it is allowed, but I thought it would be good to ask around in be prepared.

When I was in sixth grade, we had stations at Regionals, but at states and regionals since it's always just been a packet of stuff.
