My friend got the chicken pox during finals also and she got arrangements to take them at home.
No, the regents are state administered exams so you can only take them on the days that NY state says so. The finals made by the teachers i take in school next week when i get better.

That's insane!! We're not even allowed to make them up. If you're not there by the bell on exam day, 0 for you.

I think i'm the first person on this site to get it. I"m quarantened and not allowed to leave my house untill next monday. This week i am missing 4 finals including the geometry and living environment new york state regents examinations which i will have to make up august 13. to make it worse i go to Greece every summer; this year it was planned from June 27 to september 7th. This means that i will have to come back to the US early and it will cut my vacation in half.
My max temperature was 102.8. I'm going to be taking tamaflu (which was difficult to find due to the shortage).
At least 4ish people in my school have influenza A, or probable swine flu.
sux. I'm still sick now, and I had to take my first final. it was a science lab, but my teacher said if i wasnt there today, it would have been really hard to make up. so it's a good thing i was there!
Nerds rule. Nerds are awesome. Nerds will someday (soon) rule the world. And you know it.

No matter what Swine Flu is not as bad as the common flu. Looking at the number H1N1 has probably killed 100 ppl in a month while the regualar flu kills thousands of people each year
The 10 most important two letter words.
If it is to be, it is up to me

You're probably right. Especially with the OCD over this. I mean it was bad 90 years ago. People shouldn't act like it's going to end the world. I mean is cases like smartkid's they should get treatment and stay home, but it's not bubonic plague.

It's all proportional though. A lot more people get seasonal flu than have had swine flu so far.
As far as NYS Regents Exams go - I know there have been circumstances where they can be taken offsite, but it's probably rare. Someone at our school took it in an airport years ago. But that's probably only logistically possible in extreme circumstances.
Not that you probably want to take exams when you're under the weather anyway (although Regents exams can be aced while sleeping).
